A LETTER FOR YOU, FROM YOUTH NATIONAL TEAM PLAYER, GABRIEL “GAGA” SLONINA
Tomorrow, the U.S. Men’s National Team takes on Jamaica in a critical FIFA World Cup Qualifier in Austin as they continue the road to Qatar.
Just like you, I’m excited to cheer them on. This team, and my own experiences with U.S. Soccer, have meant so much to me.
I started playing soccer when I was about three years old – but my experiences with U.S. Soccer Youth National Teams are some of the most meaningful, fun, and best times in my entire life.
Most people know about the Men’s and Women’s National Teams, but did you know that U.S. Soccer is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that also manages 22 other teams – including Boys and Girls YNTs?
It’s an amazing, eye-opening opportunity, and a special feeling to get called into a YNT camp to represent our country.
My teammates and I have developed so much while competing against other nations, getting exposed to their styles of play, traveling to new and challenging places, and learning alongside some of the best soccer players in our age group in the country and around the world. These opportunities have such a meaningful impact on our lives and made us better people.
Will you consider taking a moment now to donate to support us and our experiences with Youth National Teams?
Your gift can help us travel, train, and compete. Most importantly, you can help us achieve our soccer dreams.
I’ve met some of my best friends at National Team Camps, and our time together with the YNTs is our best chance to grow as players and humans.
We are all so grateful to the donors contributing to this program. You and your investments push us to be better. Please take a moment to support us now at ussoccer.com/supportthefuture.
P.S. By donating today, you are building the teams of the future - supporting players who may someday compete in big matches like the one we will all see tomorrow. Thank you!
