17 guests of the U.S. Soccer Patrons Program traveled to Mexico City for the U.S. Men's National Team's 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifier v. Mexico at Estadio Azteca on June 11, 2017.
This one-of-a-kind VIP travel opportunity from June 9-12 offered private guided city tours and special behind-the-scenes access to U.S. Soccer. Patrons enjoyed behind-the-scenes tours of the Iconic Palacio de Bellas Artes and the Palacio Nacional as well as a private dinner with the U.S. Soccer Board of Directors and senior leadership.
On game-day, Patrons joined Director of High Performance James Bunce and U.S. MNT Press Officer Michael Kammarman for a special breakfast to learn more about the away-match experience, preparing for altitude, and innovative development work happening at U.S. Soccer.
Prior to the match, Patrons enjoyed VIP access at U.S. Soccer's official Fan Party where Patrons were invited to a private tequila tasting just outside of Estadio Azteca.
